This is a beautiful original art print which has been made with two separate lino blocks. Exuding an art deco feel, it depicts a majestic scene of a dark blue whale shark moving through a sea of glinting golden ginkgo leaves. Please note as this is an original artwork and hand-crafted product, each print may vary slightly.
This handmade, dynamic print is perfect for any whale lover, ocean conservationist, and thalassophile alike and is a piece that will draw any ocean enthusiast back under the waves, even just for a moment.
This is a limited edition lino print with only 200 prints in the edition. Each one is numbered, titled and signed by the artist.
This A4 print features an original illustration by Rosie Lavis (@thewildprintstudio) which was hand carved onto lino. The carving took in excess of 40 hours to complete. Each print is hand burnished onto lightweight, high quality hosho paper paper in gold and dark blue oil based ink.
The whole piece is A4 sized (29.7 cmx 21cm) and the image size is approximately 24.7cm x 17cm
The listing is for an unframed lino print and the print will be posted to you double backed with card and safely packaged in a biodegradable cellophane slip, ready to frame or to give as a gift.
