‘Ocean Bloom’ A4 print, super limited edition
This exquisite piece depicts natures gentlest giants, the humpback whale. This piece pictures a beautiful humpback alongside plumeria and hibiscus blooms which are native to Hawaii and also where humpback whales come to breed and give birth to their calves. These magical creatures are best known for their hauntingly melodious whale songs, where they sing for hours into the big bold blue.
This handmade, dynamic print is perfect for any whale lover, ocean conservationist, and thalassophile alike. This is a piece that will draw any ocean enthusiast back under the waves, even just for a moment.
The gold versions are super limited edition lino prints with only 10 prints in the edition. The blue ink on high quality Japanese hosho paper are part of a 150 edition. Each one is numbered, titled and signed by the artist.
This A4 print features an original illustration by Rosie Lavis (@thewildprintstudio) which was hand carved onto lino. Each print is hand burnished onto teal Nepalese lokta paper, in gold traditional oil based relief ink.
The whole piece is A4 sized (29.7 cmx 21cm) and the image size is approximately 23cm x 18cm
The listing is for an unframed lino print and the print will be posted to you double backed with card and safely packaged in a biodegradable cellophane slip, ready to frame or to give as a gift.
