'The Golden Hour'
‘The golden hour’ limited edition art print, approximately A4
This is a beautiful original art print, a homage to 'the wave' created by the legendary artist Katsushika Hokusai. This has been created using two separate lino blocks, pieced together like a jigsaw. It depicts a magical sunset scene over the ocean creating a magical spectacle with multi hues of yellows pinks and purples running into each other against a bright moon.
Please note as this is an original artwork and hand-crafted product, each print has been lovingly hand burnished by me and may vary slightly.
This is a special handmade piece, perfect for any lover or the Ukiyo-e art genre or simple those in love with the ocean or, like the artist, have enjoyed quiet moments staring at the beauty that is the golden hour. This piece that will draw many into a world of escapism.
This is a limited edition lino print with only 200 prints in the edition. Each one is numbered, titled and signed by the artist.
This print features an original illustration by Rosie Lavis (@thewildprintstudio) which was hand carved onto lino. The carving took in excess of 40 hours to complete. Each print is hand burnished onto lightweight, high quality khardi lokta paper in a range of blue oil based inks.
The whole piece is approximately A4 sized (29.7 cmx 21cm), however will not be exact A4 dimensions due to the nature of the deckled edge of the paper. The image size is approximately 24.7cm x 17cm
The listing is for an unframed lino print and the print will be posted to you double backed with card and safely packaged in a biodegradable cellophane slip, ready to frame or to give as a gift.
An option to add a free personalised message is included if intended as a gift.
